A full program of 2 days with stay in a 4-star hotel.

Departing point in Sevilla. It is the only wine cellar that has survived time in the city of Ronda, an ancient Country house-winery from the 18th century, that in those 200 years has suffered several modifications and enlargements.

Its grapes come from 4 vineyards located in the surroundings of Ronda, making a total of 9 hectares, two of them in the famous “Hoya del Tajo” valley named “Los Molinos y la Hoya”, another one located in less than one thousand meters from the Wine cellar, in the “Cerro del Aguila” mountain, and the last one, in the “El Juncal” country estate.

The experience includes:
  • Visit to the Pasos Largos Wine cellar, an ancient Country house-winery from the 18th century, that in those 200 years has suffered several modifications and enlargements, the last one in 2001, turning into a Hotel-Wine cellar. Its grapes come from 4 vineyards located in the surroundings of Ronda, making a total of 9 hectares; that provides this wine a greater complexity, as some of the farms have a height difference of more than one hundred meters above the others, with completely different types of soil, such as sandy loam, calcareous and even slate, which gives its wines a special personality.

The grape varieties harvested there are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and all the work done in the vineyards are “Produccion Integrada” what means that the treatments are limited and respect to maximum the ecosystem around the vineyards.
  • Lunch in “Bardal” restaurant. The gastronomic bet of Benito Gomez in the city of Ronda. The dishes are not what they look like and their meaning is discovered when you taste them, in the flavor. Bardal stands out by its fresh products in a personal style cooking with no labels.
  • Guided visit in Ronda. Tour in the Paseo de los Toreros promenade and the Jardines de Blas Infante gardens, from which viewpoints it is possible to see how the Tajo river is a natural impassable rampart that made Romans, Visigoth people and Arabians stayed in Ronda for the four thousand years of the city history. Puente Nuevo bridge, one hundred meters tall, is what all the visitors want to take a picture of. The Mirador de Aldehuela viewpoint is perfect to contemplate the Puente Viejo bridge, the Jardines de Cuenca gardens and the Casa del Rey Moro (Moor King) house, where its gardens divide the enigmatic stairs of «La Mina» (the mine) built by the Arabs to supply the city with water when it was besiege. The visit will end in the Bull Ring, opened to the public in 1793 and scene of the typical Corrida Goyesca bullfight.
  • Flamenco night. A flamenco performance of 90 minutes in the flamenco stage “El Quinquel”
  • Stay and breakfast in the “Montelirio” hotel or in the “Hotel bodega El Juncal” hotel.
